February 4th training is Canceled

The classroom training scheduled for Saturday, February 4th, at Colorado Academy has been canceled due to the weather and related road conditions. Alternatives for the mandatory 2012 US Lacrosse rules interpretation include Sunday, February 5th, 9:00-2:30 at the Regis University Field House; Wednesday, February 8 at ThunderRidge High School at 6:00 or Saturday, February 11 at Colorado college in Colorado Springs, 3:00-5:00.


Junior Officials Training

The mandatory annual training for Junior Officials(high school age) planning to work CGLA youth games in April & May is scheduled.
Classroom Training - Sunday, March 11 at Denver School of Science & Technology (2000 Valentia Street, Denver, Colorado 80238)from 8:00-2:00
The time & location for Colorado Springs is not finalized. Please stay tuned.
On field training - Sunday, March 18 at Lorenz Park (Colorado & County Line, Highlands Ranch, CO) This is in conjunction with the CGLA Spring Fling. The schedule will not be finalized until the week of the training.


2012 training plans and dates are now posted on the calendar. Information sheets & registration forms are posted on the adult registration page.

The US Lacrosse renewal date is October 1 for all current officials, adult & youth. CWLOA registration & dues are due December 31, 2011. Late registrations are accepted but will incur a late charge.

Women's Lacrosse is a fast paced game that resembles the playing strategies of basketball and field hockey on a soccer field. As Lacrosse participation explodes in Colorado, there is a huge demand for women's lacrosse officials at all levels. The CWLOA needs new umpires to meet this ever growing need. WCLA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP returns to Colorado for 2012

The WCLA, the National Association of women's collegiate club teams, will hold it's 2012 National Championship Tournament at El Pomar Park in Colorado Springs on May 9-12.
Twenty four of the top college club teams will battle for national titles in two divisions. Look forward to 4 days of championship collegiate lacrosse.

Please submit all game suspensions resulting from red cards using the form linked below. Include all of the required information. CHSAA will notify the school involved and it will be the responsibility of the school to sit the individual player or coach for the required games. It is not the officials responsibility to verify player or coach eligibility.
